JRI Wins Regional Innovation Award

JRI's work with the Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Centre of Industrial Collaboration (BITE CIC) won an award at a Yorkshire Forward event held on 25th January 2006.

Yorkshire Forward is the first Regional Development Agency to establish a network of Centres of Industrial Collaboration (CIC), an initiative to establish a world-class scientific, technical and research resource for industry.

BITE CIC worked with JRI to prove the superior wear resistance of the JRI Total Knee Replacement using joint simulators at the University of Leeds.
